This was the original Pro- Actives, and the cool thing is that you can EQ the pickup yourself.
When I went to College I had 2 Seymour Duncan active pickups(AJJ-1 and AJB-1) installed(in 1986) These original 80's Seymour Duncan J pickups are active, with EQ dip switches. And the finish on the neck and the fretboard stripped off. I eventually had the frets professionally taken out and filled with fret markers. I bought this new(stock) back in Jr High School.
